Expanding Participation of People With Disability in  Nairobi West District

Empowering PWDS to advocate for their right and conduct innovative action that promote inclusion with the society

According to the world health organization and the Kenya demographic and health survey estimated that about 10% of the country total population has one form of disability.

The fact that a lot has been done over the years, stigma and discrimination of persons with disability is still real and one of the biggest obstacles to realizing their full participation of PWDS in community development activities.

The plight of PWDS in the country is real characterized by negative community attitude, lack of laws protecting their human right and most of them among the poorest of the poor.
